April 15, 2018

Ringette Canada - Winnipeg, Manitoba – April 14, 2018 – Atlantic Attack are the National Ringette League champions after beating Edmonton WAM! 5-3 in today’s gold medal final at the 2018 Save-On-Foods Canadian Ringette Championships in Winnipeg. This is the Attack’s first gold medal at the national championships, with Moncton’s Jenny Snowdon contributing a hat trick in the final.

In the U16 division, Team Manitoba claimed gold when they beat previously undefeated Calgary Surge 3-1 in today’s final. Winnipeg’s Kiana Adolphe picked up a goal and an assist and talked about her team’s success shortly after the game.

“We worked so hard all year and we really wanted to win. We lost in overtime to Calgary in the round-robin and coming into today’s game I did some visualization, this was our biggest goal, we were ready,” said Adolphe.
