September 23-30, 2017, marks the third annual National Coaches Week! The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) and the 13 Provincial and Territorial Coaching Representatives (P/TCRs)’s National Coaches Week is a week to celebrate the positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities across Canada. This week is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by saying #ThanksCoach.

#ThanksCoach Profiles

Are you interested in writing a profile about a coach you want to say “thanks” to? Here is a quick and easy template you can provide your athletes with to get information about coaches in your community that you want to profile!

Who can you fill out a #ThanksCoach profile for? Anyone! From grassroots to high performance, all coaches are deserving of recognition. Tell us about a coach that deserves a big thank you!

Why should you profile a deserving coach? The #ThanksCoach profile initiative is part of National Coaches Week that helps celebrate the diversity of coaches across Canada and the positive impact they have across the country.

#ThanksCoach e-Card

There are several ways to show your appreciation to your coach. A quick and easy way is to send an e-Card to your coach thanking them on their amazing job and the impact they’ve had in your life.

To send an e-Card is very simple, just follow these steps:

  1. Go to http://thanks.coach.ca/
  2. Click the e-Card.
  3. Customize your e-Card by filling out the recipient’s information, your message to your favourite coach and your information.
  4. Pick a date then click VIEW.
  5. Once you have reviewed the information and everything looks great, press SEND.
  6. You’ll then see a confirmation that your e-card has been sent.

Send this e-card to as many coaches as you like. This small gesture will mean so much to your coach.
