‘Management by values’ (MBV) is an exciting new management approach that is designed to help organizations better achieve their vision by connecting their values to everyday decisions and actions. This workshop will explain the MBV approach, and how it both contrasts from, yet also complements, more traditional management approaches, including ‘management by instruction’ and ‘management by objectives’. Participants will learn how MBV can help sport administrators deal more effectively with the many issues and barriers that are surfacing in today’s complex environment. Lessons learned from other sport organizations will be shared, and participants will explore how values can be brought to life in policy, strategy, communications and decision-making.
This workshop will be presented by SIRC and the CENTRE FOR SPORT AND LAW, and will feature Dina Bell-Laroche.
The Card Verification Number/Code anti-fraud system was created so that if someone gets possession of your credit card numbers they also need to have possession of your physical card in order to use the card. For MasterCard, it is the CVC2 (Card Validation Code). Visa calls this number the CVV2 (Card Verification Value).

The verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.
