Sudbury, ON – As one of Canada’s premiere sports business programs, the Sports Administration (SPAD) program at Laurentian University is pleased to introduce you to the inaugural Northern Sports Industry Conference (NSIC).

Founded in 1972, the SPAD program has developed a lasting footprint in the North American sports business industry. With alumni representing the program in all major sports leagues, SPAD continues to mold sports business leaders in North America.

NSIC 2017 is prepared to host 20+ sport business experts, and over 100 students for the inaugural Northern Sports Industry Conference (NSIC). NSIC 2017 will take place March 2nd -5th, 2017, with four (4) panels of varying topics, and several keynote speakers:

The conference will be hosted on Laurentian University’s campus in Sudbury, Ontario, and at the Holiday Inn at 1696 Regent St. NSIC 2017 is targeted to sports business students and professionals looking to break into the world of sport.

The theme for the conference is #BreakingTheIce, which plays on the Northern Ontario temperatures and the idea of the new era of students looking to work with their favourite teams, leagues, and sports. The official hashtag of the conference and everything leading up to it is #NSIC2017.
