Join CAAWS for an International Women's Day luncheon
Event Date: Mar. 8, 2017
In honour of International Women’s Day, CAAWS invites you to join us at a special luncheon in Ottawa to celebrate the contributions of women to Canadian sport and to hear from diverse voices on the theme of inclusive leadership.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend. You’ll enjoy networking with colleagues, a presentation of the 2016 Most Influential Women List and Awards, and a panel discussion by female and male leaders.
2016 gave us much to cheer about for Canadian women and sport, but inequality is still widespread. Active leadership at all levels is key to creating change. Drawing on lived experience, panelists will share their perspectives on what inclusive leadership looks like in 2017 and strategies for advancing equity and inclusion for women through your leadership.
When: March 8th, 2017
Where: RA Centre, Clark Hall (2451 Riverside Drive, Ottawa)
Time: 12:00pm – 2:00pm (registration opens at 11:30am)
Cost: $20.00 per person, includes buffet lunch
Our panel includes:
Lorraine Lafrenière – CEO, Coaching Association of Canada
Paul Melia – President and CEO of Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport
Jasmine Northcott – CEO, Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada
Moderated by CAAWS CEO Allison Sandmeyer-Graves
