Doping Control Officers – Level 1 The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) is an independent, national, not-for-profit organization. We want to make sport better because we recognize that quality sport can make a great difference for individuals, communities and our country. We work collaboratively with the Canadian and international sport communities to activate a valuesbased and principle-driven sport system; protect the integrity of sport from the negative forces of doping and other unethical threats; and advocate for sport that is fair, safe and open to everyone. The CCES is seeking individuals to fill the employment opportunity of Doping Control Officer (DCO) – Level 1 on a part-time casual employment basis with availability to work weekday mornings. We are currently seeking individuals residing in or near the cities of Whistler BC, Surrey/Richmond BC, and Calgary AB. DCOs play a key role at the CCES in implementing the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP). As a DCO, you will be responsible for conducting sample collection sessions with athletes. Sample collection sessions include the collection of urine and/or blood at both in-competition (events) and out-of-competition (training and home visits) testing sessions.
