Sport Expert Content Writers - SIRC

SIRC is looking for sport experts willing to share their knowledge through creative blogs and articles. Our goal is to create engaging blog posts that educate, inform and entertain the Canadian sport community and help SIRC to broaden its reach. If you have expertise in areas such as high performance or community based coaching, LTAD, aboriginal sport, sport research, sport science, sport for persons with a disability, nutrition, sport leadership or governance we would like to hear from you. Prior blogging and sport industry experience is an asset.
- Ability to think independently and suggest creative topics that generate buzz.
- Expertise with any of the following subject areas: sports science/medicine, coaching, sport training, nutrition, governance, or general sport/fitness.
- Proficient research and content analysis skills to produce credible articles
- Desire to create and share the knowledge through informative and educational pieces
- Proven track record of writing engaging content
- Deadline oriented and willing to produce series of 300-400 word posts or articles
- Passion for sport
University degree or diploma in relevant areas
Bilingualism an asset
