Jasey-Jay Anderson

Jasey-Jay Anderson is Canada's most decorated snowboarder and has represented Canada at the winter Olympic Games for 16 years. Jasey-Jay’s parents were both ski instructors and his brother Jayme introduced him to snowboarding at a young age. Anderson won his first medal in competition at age 14, only 4 years after the first snowboard World Cup was held in Austria in 1985. Included in Jasey-Jay’s achievements are World Championship gold medals in all 3 slalom events, four consecutive overall FIS Snowboard World Cup titles from 2000-2004 and two world cup overall titles in snowboard cross in 2001-02 and 2005-06. These titles included 19 podiums in parallel giant slalom and 19 podiums in snowboard cross.
